TERMS OF USE

Last Updated: October 27, 2026

Welcome to Solar Cancel Group ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, contact forms, consultation requests, and related cancellation consulting and consumer advocacy services (collectively, the "Services").

Please read these Terms carefully before using our Services. By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry form, or engaging our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Services.

  • 1. Description of Services & Disclaimer of Legal Advice

    • Nature of Services: Solar Cancel Group provides consultation, contract analysis, mediation support, and dispute assistance to help residential consumers navigate disputes, exit strategies, and cancellations involving third-party solar purchase, lease, or power purchase agreements (PPAs).

    • Not Legal Counsel: Solar Cancel Group is NOT a law firm and does NOT provide legal advice or legal representation. Our services consist of administrative and consumer advocacy support. No attorney-client relationship is formed through your use of this site or our intake process. If your dispute requires formal litigation or formal legal representation, you should consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

    • No Guarantee of Results: While we use commercially reasonable efforts to assist you in disputing, negotiating, or terminating your solar agreement, we do not and cannot guarantee a specific outcome, monetary refund, complete contract release, or specific timeline. Results depend heavily on your contract terms, financing partner, installer status, and state regulations.

  • 2. Independent Entity Status

Solar Cancel Group is an independent consumer assistance organization. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with any utility company, municipal utility district, state or federal solar rebate program, or specific solar installation/financing company (including, but not limited to, Sunrun, Sunnova, GoodLeap, Mosaic, Tesla, or any local installer). Any trademarks, service marks, or company names referenced on our website belong to their respective owners.

  • 3. User Representations & Information Accuracy

By submitting information to Solar Cancel Group, you represent and warrant that:

    1. You are at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into binding agreements.

    2. You are the legal owner, contract signatory, or authorized representative of the solar system, property, or contract being disputed.

    3. All information, documentation, utility statements, and contracts you submit are accurate, true, and complete to the best of your knowledge.

    4. You will promptly notify us of any material updates, notices of default, collection letters, or communications received from your solar provider or lender.

  • 4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to misuse our website or Services. Specifically, you agree not to:

    • Submit false, forged, misleading, or deceptive documents or identity details.

    • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our website, servers, networks, or CRM systems.

    • Use automated tools, bots, web scrapers, or crawlers to extract data, forms, or content from our website without written permission.

    • Engage in defamatory, abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior toward our staff, case managers, or affiliated partners.

    • Use our Services for any fraudulent, unlawful, or unauthorized purpose under federal, state, or local laws.

We reserve the right to immediately terminate communication and refuse or cancel service to anyone violating this Acceptable Use Policy.

  • 5. Fees, Invoicing, and Payment

    • Free Initial Evaluation: Submitting an initial inquiry or having a preliminary qualification review is provided at no initial charge.

    • Service Fees: If you qualify and choose to formally retain our services, any applicable administrative, retainer, or service fees will be clearly defined and agreed upon in a separate written Service Agreement prior to any billing.

    • Refund Policy: Specific cancellation rights and refund policies regarding our services will be explicitly governed by your individual Service Agreement and applicable federal and state consumer cancellation laws (e.g., three-day right of rescission where applicable)

  • 6. Mobile Messaging Terms

Solar Cancel Group sends informational and transactional SMS/MMS messages to people who separately and affirmatively opt in. Messages may include responses to inquiries, appointment confirmations and reminders, and case status updates.

    • Consent: Providing your phone number or submitting a form alone does not constitute SMS consent. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

    • Opt-Out: Reply STOP to unsubscribe. You may receive one final message confirming your opt-out. No further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

    • Assistance (HELP): Reply HELP for assistance or contact us at [email protected].

    • Frequency and Rates: Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

    • Privacy: We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or consent with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. For information about how we collect, use, and protect your information, please review our Privacy Policy.

  • 9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Solar Cancel Group and its officers, directors, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or legal fees arising out of or relating to:

    • Your provision of false, inaccurate, or forged solar agreements or consumer data; or

    • Your violation of any rights of a third party, including your solar provider, installer, or lender.

  • 10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

    • Governing Law: These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to your use of the website or Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without giving effect to conflict of law principles.

    • Informal Resolution First: Before initiating any formal legal proceeding or arbitration, you agree to contact us at [email protected] to attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days.

    • Arbitration & Class Action Waiver: If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, any controversy or claim shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
